(A) ITC (INTELLIGENT THROTTLE CONTROL)

The Rotax system is high technology at its best. SKI MODE provides pre-programmed acceleration curves so anyone in the family can be an expert tow sports driver. ECO MODE dials in the most efficient cruising speed, taking the guess work of maximizing fuel economy. DOCKING MODE rescales the trottle for precise maneuverability in tight docking situations.

 

(B) DRIVE SHAFT SLEEVE

Helps prevent the problem of debris, tow ropes and weeds becoming entangled with the drive shaft. Rivals can only try to fix the problem after it occurs.

 

(C) CLOSED LOOP COOLING

Protects the engine from harmful salt, gunk, and corrosion by using clean coolant like a car. All Rotax 4-TEC engines are true saltwater editions.

 

(D) LATERAL THRUST GATE

Directs jet thrust to either side of the transom during low speed maneuvers giving the driver pin-point control at the dock. Other systems either direct the thrust downward or use rudders, both of which are ineffective at low speeds.
